Enjoy Easter Egg Hunts & Activities in Northern Michigan

Spring 2024

Hunting for Easter eggs is a part of spring that children love. Typically on Easter weekend in Northern Michigan communities, the hunt is on for the eggs. Don’t miss one of these Easter egg hunts or other fun, Easter-themed activities!

Here's a list of Easter egg hunts and activities that are currently scheduled:

  • Throughout the Month of March – Mail letters to the Easter Bunny at the mailbox in front of Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • Saturdays from March 9th-23rd and Friday, March 29th, 2024 from 9:30-11:30am AND 1-3pm – Treats and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • Saturday, March 16th, 11am-2pm – Easter Bunny Lunch and Easter Egg Hunt. Church of the Straights- 307 N. Huron Ave., Mackinaw City.
  • Sunday, March 17th, 2024 from 3-5pm – Pet photos with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gift, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • March 22nd-30th, 2024 – In-store Easter Egg Hunt at Grandpa Shorter’s Gift, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • Sunday, March 23rd, 2024 from 6-8pm – Pet photos with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gift, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 from 9:30-11:30am AND 1-4pm – Treats and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 from 10-11:30am – Easter Fun & Games hosted by the East Jordan Lions Club in the East Jordan Elementary School Gym- 304 4th St., East Jordan.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 11am – Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Cheboygan Main Street-Downtown Development Authority –  Children ages 0-5 will have their egg hunt in Washington Park and kids 6 and up will have theirs in Major City Park. All children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to collect eggs. Washington Park- E. Elm St. Major City Park- 1101 N. Huron St., Cheboygan.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 11am – Easter Egg Hunt with visit from the Easter Bunny – Children of all ages are welcome and bags will be provided to collect eggs. Zorn Park- 151 E. Bay St., Harbor Springs.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 11am – Fairgrounds Egg Scramble with egg hunts, food, and more for all ages. Bring your own basket. Emmett County Fairgrounds Community Center- 1129 Charlevoix Ave., Petoskey.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 11am – Easter Egg Hunt – for children of all ages and the hunt will be broken up into age groups. 1101 N. Huron St., Cheboygan.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 beginning at 11 am – Easter Luncheon & Egg Hunt – Luncheon from 11am-1:30pm. Egg Hunt from 2-3pm. Age groups are: 2 and under, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, and 7-10 years. The hunt will include 4500 prize-filled eggs. Please bring your own basket to collect eggs. Hosted by Charlevoix State Band and the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce. Charlevoix at East Park- 400 Bridge St., Charlevoix.
  • Saturday, March 30th, 2024 from 12-2pm – Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1-13 with over 1,000 eggs. Johannesburg Christian Church-10722 M-32, Johannesburg.
  • Sunday, March 31st, 2024 from 10am-4pm – Easter Brunch at Stafford’s Weathervane- 109 Pine River Lane, Charlevoix. Make reservations at staffordsweathervane.com.
